Appointment Terms of Use

Acceptance of Appointment Terms of Use. These Appointment Terms of Use are entered into by and between you and Amavalon Inc. (“us”, “we”). By booking an appointment or purchasing a time block (pre-purchased package) with us, you accept and agree to the Terms of Use, found at https://www.amavaloninc.com/terms-of-use/, and you also accept and agree to the Appointment Terms of Use shown below.
1. Third-Party Appointment Scheduling Tool. You acknowledge and agree to use the third-party appointment scheduler from Acuity Scheduling (www.acuityscheduling.com) ("the Appointment Scheduler"). The Appointment Scheduler is set up to enable you to book appointments into our calendar. If needed, you will use the Appointment Scheduler to reschedule and/or cancel appointments.
2. Payment Required During Booking. The Appointment Scheduler utilizes an integrated payment processor to facilitate the purchase of Services. If a Service fee is required, you authorize the Appointment Scheduler to charge your selected payment method immediately to secure the date and time of your appointment with one or more of our subject experts (e.g., training services). Fees will be charged regardless of whether you use the purchased Services.
If you are booking an appointment with a pre-purchased package, use the booking code provided at the time of purchase. If no valid code is entered, you will be requested to provide an alternate payment method to complete the booking.
If you are booking an appointment using a pre-purchased package booking code, you must enter the booking code provided to you at the time of package purchase, or you will be requested to provide an alternate payment method to continue booking.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy. You acknowledge the following cancellation and refund policy for appointments:
3a. You can cancel your appointment up to 72 hours before your scheduled appointment date and time. In this case, we will refund up to 100% of the amount you paid back to the form of payment you used, less any bank processing fees.
3b. You can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment date and time. In this case, we will refund 50% of the amount you paid back to the form of payment you used.
3c. If you schedule your appointment within 24 hours of the date and time of your appointment and wish to cancel thereafter, no portion of your payment will be refunded.
3d. If you are a no-show to your appointment, no portion of your payment will be refunded.
A no-show is defined as a customer who neither attends their scheduled appointment nor provides any communication (via phone, email, or text) within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time. If you arrive late to your appointment, your session will end at the originally scheduled time, and no additional time or refunds will be provided.
4. Rescheduling and/or Cancelling an Appointment is Your Responsibility. You acknowledge that you are responsible for rescheduling and/or canceling any appointments you make. Use the confirmation email you receive after booking your appointment and follow the link to the Appointment Scheduler to reschedule or cancel as needed.
5. Pre-Purchased Packages. Pre-purchased time blocks allow you to secure blocks of time with our experts at a discounted rate. The following terms apply to all pre-purchased packages:
5a. Usage and Booking: Upon purchase, you will receive a unique booking code that must be entered when scheduling appointments.
5b. Expiration: Pre-purchased packages must be used to schedule appointments within 90 days of the purchase date. Any time remaining in the package that has not been used to book an appointment within this 90-day period will automatically expire. Appointments booked within the 90-day period may be scheduled for a later date. No refunds will be issued for unused portions.
5c. Refund Policy: No refunds will be provided for pre-purchased packages once the purchase has been made, except as required by law.
5d. Appointments scheduled using pre-purchased packages are subject to the same policies outlined in Sections 3 and 4, including cancellation, no-show, and late arrival policies.
